Heating Zinc Oxide
Aim: Is to see what change happens when we heat Zinc Oxide?
Equipment: Bunsen Burner, Heat mat, tripod, safety Glasses, Crucible, Crucible Holder and Zinc Oxide
Results/Observation: The Zinc Oxide was white in the beginning when cool but as it heated up the Zinc started to unfold a yellow-ish green colour but as it cooled back down the Zinc had returned to its original white colour.
Discussion: When heated, the Electrons in Zinc move to other Levels, making it change colour.

Spirituals
Spirituals were songs that slaves would use to communicate & send messages to each other. Sometimes these songs were used to give directions to other slaves for an escape route. The Most known escape route was the Underground Railroad. The person famous for operating theses Railroads and freeing slaves from the Slave states was Harriet Tubman. Tubman was an American Political activist and made approximately 13 missions to go back to the enslaved states and rescue up to 70 slaves. Most of them family and friends, she used the network of safe houses and antislavery activists known as the Underground Railroads. The slaves would use spirituals such as an iconic spiritual named Wade in the Water. The message from the verse and obviously its name Wade in the Water was a message for the slaves so if they ever wanted to escape, escape through Wading in Water as it was hard for trackers to find run away slaves as the scent of the slaves would rinse right off them. These events still effect today's society such as the BLM movement where people remember times where black people always lived in fear and wanted to change the way the live. Equality and Racism are quite big in today's society still and people will continue to fight for their rights.

Dilution Experiment
Hypothesis:
. Which test tube is the most Dilute? . . Which test tube will be the least Dilute?
Concentration: When something is more particles of something in a solution/mixture.
Aim: To make a dilution series to investigate concentration.
Equipment: A Potassium Permanganate crystal, six large test tubes, tweezers, a plastic transfer pipette, test tube rack, 10 ml measuring cylinder.
Which test tube would be the most dilute? -The test tube that will be the most dilute would be test tube 6.
Filtration Experiment
Aim: To separate a mixture we have made using Filtration
Hypothesis: I think that they will not separate because they are both liquids and will be hard to separate but I do think that they might separate due to some videos I have watched.'
